I'd highly recommend Advanced Autowerks. My car was making a strange ticking sound that I was concerned about. Having no clue where to go, I of course turned to my BFF, Yelp. I called Advanced Autowerks in the afternoon, they had me bring in my car the next morning, and it was ready to go hours later. The best part? They were 100% honest with me - turns out nothing serious was wrong with my car, and they didn't even charge me a penny. Jason walked me through everything and answered all of my questions; he even got in the car with me to explain what I was hearing. Truly amazing customer service. I'll definitely go back when needed.

I'm still bringing Buggy here, and these guys remain honest, friendly, and available. Today, we swung by because Buggy's front underside got knocked loose (he is "grounded" and this happens sometimes in the city). The guys at Advanced Autowerks took us in right away. I comfortably hung out in the waiting area and played Super Mario Brothers on their Nintendo, which is available for customers. Meantime, they re-secured Buggy's loose part for free, and even washed him! We are so happy to have these guys taking care of us. Thank you, guys!

These guys are as good as it gets in the auto repair world. I trust all their suggestions and recommendations regarding my 2010 VW Jetta and would not think of any reason not to keep going back for the life of my car. Guys are professional, honest and truly reliable on all aspects of the repair/tune-up experience.

This place is a class act for a mechanic. They are super professional and upfront about what things are going to cost, how long they are going to take, etc. They are on the expensive side, but so is everyplace I've ever taken my Audi. They will tell you what needs to be replaced now, and what can wait. They also will email you receipts and have online billing!

Big fan of Advanced Auotwerks. I have a 2010 Audi A4 out of warranty (85k) and was having a high level of oil consumption. They provided a complimentary topoff and advised me that there was a class action lawsuit for A4 oil consumption issues and that I should contact the dealer to do an oil consumption test. I contacted Royal Motors and they wanted to charge me $900 to an oil consumption test. Randy from AA proceeded to tell me that this was crazy and I should contact Audi USA who then took care of me by getting me hooked up with Burlingame Audi. Burlingame Audi did all of the work free due to the known issue with the motor. I would not have know of this without the help of Randy and Advanced. Thank you.

These guys are really great. They keep our '05 Jetta TDI, now in the hands of our teen driver, going strong. Great communication, great service, taxi fare or MUNI fare to get you home or to work. They'll replace a headlight or wiper while you wait. They didn't build your stylish car (Audi, VW, Mini) that needs constant and expensive repair but they will keep it running beautifully.

Pretty much the same experience as everyone else. I have confidence that they do the work required and don't try to charge for unnecessary extra work. I am also confident that they do the work well. They are not cheap (basically the same price as the dealer) but I don't mind paying for the confidence of having my car looked after properly.

Long story, Bought an Audi s4 in San Diego, was in San Francisco for 4 days and then off on a 2000 mile journey back home. Randy and Jason took really good care of helping me understand the issues with my car, what my options were and delivering the repairs in a timely manner. Love these guys!
