Automotive Technician - Journeyman Level
Seeking awesome Technicians to join our awesome team! Advanced Autowerks is entering our 15th year of business and opening a second shop in the city, and we need talented techs to join us. We are passionate people that take our work seriously, and we know how to have some serious fun. For our holiday parties we drive race cars, take motorcycle wheelie courses, and shoot guns. We have a gym in our parking lot and use it regularly (the shower too!). We geek out about motorcycles and mountain bikes. Required Skills and Experience:
- Must be proficient in all aspects of vehicle diagnosis, repair and maintenance
- 5+ years of experience
- Working knowledge of automotive shop equipment and tools
- Must be able to lift, bend and work with both manual and power tools
- Computer literate in all areas of the automotive field
- Professional etiquette, punctual, organized
- Valid CA Driver license with a clean driving record
- Your own tools
- Fluency in English
- ASE certification is a plus but not required
- Experience working with Audi and Volkswagen automobiles is a plus but not required
- Experience in an independent shop is a plus but not required
This is a full time position Tuesday-Friday 7am-6pm. Every weekend is a 3-day weekend!
